The Osthimer Family Memorial Arena was completed in the summer of 2009.  This project was the result of an effort  between the Fulton County Saddle Club and the Fulton County Fair Board.  It was made possible by a generous donation to the Saddle Club by Fred Osthimer upon his death.

Fred had been a member of the Saddle Club since it’s inception in 1944 and was aware of the Saddle Clubs goal to build an all-weather arena at the fair grounds.

Thanks to Fred’s donation and the overwhelming support of the Fulton County Fair Board, our goal has been realized.

The Fulton County fairgrounds is ideally located right off of the Ohio turnpike and only 3 miles from the town of Wauseon, with numerous restaurants, hotels and businesses.
